Jazz

Jazz is the commercial and most popular form of dance.
It can be likened to 'street Jazz' which is often performed by Pop Groups,
particularly Boy Bands, Girl Bands and Solo artists like Britney Spears.

Jazz Dance has
become so popular that the Government has recently re-structured the
Diploma in Performing Arts Dance disciplines with Jazz at No 1 position and Ballet in 2nd!
It has replaced the old style of Disco Dancing.

Jazz is taught in freestyle, with elements of old
& new (lyrical and street) combined together. Examinations
are taken in Anglo-Russe International Stage Dancing Association.
