Ballet

Ballet is the most fundamental discipline of dance and is vital in a dance student's study if they wish to take dance seriously. It is the most difficult to learn and achieve excellence at, but it can produce the most wonderful dancers, with good posture, strength and stamina. It is the basic technique behind all dance.

It is also the most beautiful of dancing with the pinnacle of achievement being when a student successfully goes onto "Pointe" and can dance pieces from the most famous Ballets of them all including Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Giselle, La Sylphide, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet  and Coppelia.

Classical ballet is taught under the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus with examinations in The Imperial Society and The Anglo-Russe International Stage Dancing Association.
